Fast food giant McDonald's is hoping to offer PhDs after receiving approval to award its own nationally recognized qualifications in Britain.

The company is looking to perfect its training regimen before it expands into post-graduate courses.

McDonald's offers classes in dealing with aggressive customers, shift management, and shift safety among others.

The fast food chain participates in a British program that aims to encourage workers to earn qualifications to increase their employability.
