Country Style Plan Accepted by Creditors

Toronto, February 18, 2002 - Country Style Food Services Inc. and its associated companies, announced today that 93% of creditors with proven claims voted to approve the Plan of Compromise and Arrangement (the "Plan"), filed by Country Style on January 31, 2002. The Plan remains subject to Court approval that will be sought forthwith.

"Thanks to the overwhelming confidence and support of our creditors, we are close to emerging from protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act,” said Patrick Gibbons, President, Country Style Food Services Inc.

“Their trust gives us an additional impetus to continue the revitalization of the Country Style brand. In the months ahead, we will implement a number of exciting marketing initiatives and work closely with our over 150 strong locations to re-build and position Country Style for profitable growth,” said

Country Style Food Services Inc. is the third largest coffee and donut franchiser in the Canadian quick service restaurant industry. There are over 150 franchised and corporate locations across Canada operating under the “Country Style” brand name. Country Style also operates in the retail “fresh bake” industry through over 60 franchised locations operating under the “Buns Master” brand name.
