GTLA flyer given to retail customers

Unfortunately, Grand and Toy Ltd., a division of the American parent company, Boise Cascade Office Products, announced in June of this year that it is not renewing our agreement when it expires. This effectively terminates the entire Franchise Program within Ontario and all Franchised stores will be returned to corporate status.

ATTENTION

Dear Valued Customer,

It is with deep regret that we inform you that as of December 31, 2001, we will no longer be the Franchisee of this Grand and Toy store. Over the past XX years, it has been our pleasure and our privilege to service your needs with regards to office supplies and services and we wish to thank you for your continued patronage.

Ufortunately, Grand and Toy Ltd., a division of the American parent company, Boise Cascade Office Products, announced in June of this year that it is not renewing our agreement when it expires. This effectively terminates the entire Franchise Program within Ontario and all Franchised stores will be returned to corporate status.

This decision will not only be affecting the owners and their families, but also many of the staff you have become acquainted with. As local business owners, we have combined hard work and dedication with a strong sense of community. We have eagerly contributed to local charities and clubs, sports teams and child related programs, always doing our utmost to play an active and positive role in our community. We have all made many financial and emotional commitments, and are dissappointed that our business relationship is ending with you, our customer.

Once again, we thank you for your past support and business and ask that you continue to support us with your business throughout the remainder of the year.

Note: this flyer was printed and given to Grand & Toy customers by the franchisees.
